My Philosophy


Hope is implicit in the act of seeking therapy. You have already taken the first step towards change by consulting
this site. I encourage you to take the next.

There are periods in life when you might feel ‘stuck’ and are unable to move forward. You may feel trapped in
unhealthy patterns or sense a loss of control; the situation may be impacting your interaction with others, leaving
you dissatisfied with yourself and your life. I can be a supportive presence to you during these times by offering a
fresh perspective – a new lens for self-awareness.

I work to create a safe, accepting, and honest environment, guiding you to develop problem-solving skills in order
to surmount difficulties and alleviate distress. I offer a place to heal, to grow, and to learn more about yourself and
how to make changes consistent with what you want and need from life.

My approach to therapy revolves around the therapeutic alliance –developing and nourishing the relationship with my clients. Empathy, trust, and transparency are the hallmarks of this relationship. I not only challenge you but encourage you to challenge yourself, while underlining your efforts with a steady stream of validation and support.

I am here to encourage you to reassess your attitude and outlook on life, to realize your own strengths, and to reflect on where you are and where you’d like to be. My aim is
to create an atmosphere of clarity and insight, help you develop the capacity and courage to change, and teach you the strength to accept.
